Well it feels like it's been ages since I posted something with pictures that wasn't for a contest. Since I finally got the new computer up and going I can use the new cam, so tell me what you think.

This was a holster I did up for the BGT's peacemaker. (Not one person I have shown this to believes me the gun is only a inch and a half long.)

The Trenches board had their Joe-A-Thon (put on by our own John Kosin here at Fantasynet) over the weekend. The board members sponsered some fun events (and I sure needed the diversion) with one of them being the custom figure 24 hour challange. You were required to build and post a 12" version of a 3 3/4" character in the 24 hour period. I choose the Cobra Snow Wolf and completd the project in about 3 working hours. Hi - this is another old bash of mine and was my first attempt at custom building a bit of kit (in this case the rollerskates!!) It might appear to be a bit of a "fantasy subject" but in actual fact these units did exist!! Fortunately, they never had to prove themselves in action!!

This is another figure I did a while back. It began as an attempt at tying a 1/6th turban for some Afghan fighter bashes I'm working on. The headsculpt (not particulary very Afghan looking!) just happened to be lying around but I think the turban came out ok so I decided to have a rumage in the spares box to make him into a complete figure. At first I thought he could be an undercover CIA guy but after a boring Sunday afternoon I came up with a far more interesting (if improbable)...

This is Hans Gemmel, one of the lads recruited for the defense of Berlin, given a panzerfaust and some over-sized gear and sent out to stop the Russians while his leader cowers in the bunker. All the insignia and the signature knife were made by me.

Alright, so this isn;t quite military, but the story line I originally conceived was of a secret, so out of uniform, mission in Nepal. There are several more photos, but I'll just give two. This was mostly bashing, but a lot of the climbing equipment I made myself.
