I read somebody's post in another site and I have the same question, is that running water in that last pic? if not explain if you can how you did it.
This project is getting better by the minute.

Thank you very much. When some guys thought, that could be real running water, it was a big compliment, showing
that the effect worked well.
About the water effect: For the surface I used some transparent film and a blue spotlight foil beneath it. That's for the sky reflection. The water jet is an infusion tube. Then I took some glue (Uhu) and applied circles on the surface and let some glue run down the tube. Where the tube hits the surface I had to stir the glue to bring some bubbles into it. That's it. |

An ambitious and inspiring project.
Sensational results.

Ugh! I take it back! Stop! Just STOP!
I don't think my own ego can take it. I hate your awesomness with the power of a thousand burning suns! Seriously. Awesomness. Just too badass. How'd you make the Jutty and the other non-wood wooden bits? They look great, everything looks great. Don't mind the hate comments, I love it. Love it. I must make an odyssey to Germania...just to bask in its glory...lol You know the irony of it all? Rome took a long time to conquer Germania, and you've gone and brought them back in, lol. That's just incredible. You should never recycle this project keep it as a permanent display. This is by far the best 1/6 scale Diorama I have ever seen,
the size and scope of it is worthy of Rome. That shadow play in the last pic is great. I truly envy your talents.

Thank you very much, guys. Yesterday I finished the second location. The forica is based on the forica in Ostia Antica. Most of the Grafittis were found in
Pompeji. I took them from the book "Decius war hier" (Decius was here) by Karl-Wilhelm Weeber (thanks for the hint, Amithi)
