Tenth Doctor Repaint, now finished! |

Character Options' Tenth Doctor figure had a decent David Tennant sculpt-even a really simple repaint like this one helps bring out the likeness, a lot. Should be getting a better background for this soon, but thought I'd take a quick shot just for fun. 
Looks a *little* more like Freema than the original paint, at least. 
Gotta try these again with decent lighting!

Looks great , sorry i didn't get to moving this topic sooner, all new stuff gets posted in the Craftsmans guild, the archives are well just that, archives.
Nice repaint as well, better then my attempts for sure.

whoops. Sorry about that, deltastorm.
 I usually try to be a little more attentive about these things.
Mainly just stripped off the original, rather lackluster paint ops and started in with the paint and pastels. It's good to paint a portrait sculpt again, they really make you stretch a bit! And this project reminded me of just how vital *really* good reference pictures are-the new printer at work is outstanding. (Yes, we're permitted to use it.  )
I'm still not entirely pleased with the Martha repaint, but the sculpt is a little blocky. Still may tweak that one a bit. The latest tweaks on Ten http://the16actionfigureboard.yuku.com/topic/1962 (silly pix at GILOLA's) improved the likeness a bit more, but I *have* to get some better lighting going!

Daammmnn!!! Those look mighty fine. Two questions for ya, were can I find a Freema, nude preferably and second whose
jacket is on the good Doctor.

1) whona.com still has 12" Martha. NRFP, but the jeans and jacket are good. Boots are molded on, though, so get ready for some body mods unless you're fine with permanent footwear. 2) Even though the facial screening and the original body on the 12" Doctor are pretty uninspiring, the clothes were actually really nice. The outfit is actually original to the figure. Woohoo, Ten is no longer WIP! Fixed a few things that still bugged me and really should call him done. Switched his head and hands to a Dragon Slim, and am much happier. 
Now all he needs, besides his coat, is a TARDIS.
