Thanks for the kind words Marya and guys.
The first tunic was cut as a rectangle 2.3 inches wide. The second one (AJ's) is 2.3 inches from shoulder to waist, and then tapers to 1.3 inches at the bottom. Back and front are barely joined at the waist
FrayCheck was applied before cutting - no hems. The 4-way slits at the neck opening barely accommodate the head. I like the way the stiffened fabric almost stands up like a collar.
The fabric was a remnant in my local Hancock's bargain bin. Don't know what it is, but it frays as you stare at it.
The male figure is a Power-Team "Peacekeeper" (for $5 new with guns, you can't go wrong).
