Below is a copy of a message posted on another board, Atlantic toys have been so supportive of us here at FN over the years
This is very sad news indeed, my heart and prayers go out to John and his family.
John at Atlantic Toys is very ill -- GrandSport(HOH),

Gentlemen, I am heartbroken by this announcement. I just got off the phone with Liz, and John at Atlantic Toys is not going to be with us much longer. He has a terminal illness that was discovered last January, and he will likely pass within the next few weeks.
Many of you have spoken with John and know what a great fella he is. I've spoken with him over the phone once in a while for about 6 years now, and have always looked forward to conversations with him. John served as a Seabee in U.S. Navy and that ex-military sense of humor was always evident.
John was looking forward to retirement and he spoke about areas in the Southwest. It pains me to think that those plans he had for he and Liz have now changed. I can't think of people more deserving of a nice retirement.
Currently he is in hospice care at home with Liz looking over him. He is rarely conscious at this point due to the pain. While I know many of you like John as much as I do, phone calls will likely add strain to what Liz is going though now and I ask you to be mindful of that. I'm sure that they will appreciate your well wishes, so please feel free to post them here.
Those of you who are members at the other boards, please let them know of this announcement. If you would be so kind, let us know of posts made at other forums about John, so that Liz can see them as well. While she is in great emotional pain at the moment, I like to think that letting her and John know that so many of us care may be of help.
John and Liz both believe in prayer, and yours would be appreciated.
