Well, as you may have gathered by now, we just couldn’t get things together to broadcast live from Lunken Airport the weekend of October 2 & 3. Sorry about that. That’s the way things go sometimes, but I’m looking forward to going “Live” with them next time, maybe this coming May.
Meanwhile, I hope the videos give you an idea of how this type of show goes, and what they try to do for the Vets. No, I didn’t get a chance to interview the Vets, the General Public really wanted to talk with them, and I didn’t want to get in the way of that.
The first video is LONG, read that as over an hour long, the second is maybe just under 10 minutes.
Could not begin to tell you how many times we had people asking about the 21st Century 1/18 scale planes on display. Big hit with the Public, and the Vets. 21st should bring these back out, a market awaits, that didn’t even know they were out the first time around. Be amazed how many didn’t know just how far the 1/6 hobby has come too, beyond the days of “Old Joe”, if they even knew about him.
This event was very well attended, and during long portions of the day, the place was packed with people.
So, if you don’t like old flying Warbirds, Military uniforms, WW2 American Field Kitchens, German Machine Guns, these videos are clearly NOT for you.
This one is the hour+ long one ….

… and this is the shorter one, focused on the B-25 “Axis Nightmare “ as it left the show, and did a short “Fly By”….

For those of you with a big stereo system hooked up with your computer, do the “NASCAR” thing, and CRANK IT UP when the Bombers are up and running.
Hope you enjoy,
GUNSHYCCTV and the SS-CC.
